The Ten Commandments is the first Soap Opera of its kind in Uganda, based on a biblical story. With amazing special effects and an exciting storyline, Record TV’s big production recounts one of the most famous passages in the Bible: the saga of Moses from birth to the arrival of his people to the Promised Land through Egypt’s escape through the Red Sea and the encounter with God on Mount Sinai.
The soap opera covers over one hundred years of history and will have 176 Episodes divided into four phases, with dozens of characters. This historical content, Moses and The Ten Commandments, will be full of family conflicts, intrigues, power struggle, betrayals, envy, hatred, forbidden passions and impossible loves in plots filled with much emotion.
Filmed partially on location in Israel, Egypt, and in the Atacama Desert in Chile, authenticity in film sets, scenery, costumes and historical accounts, and a deep respect for the Bible are paramount.
Broadcasting through Star Times 221, Gotv 828, FTA platforms, it’s rapidly becoming a great choice for TV viewers due to its highly diversified daily content that meets different tastes and interests. It aims to encourage viewers to seek an alternative television experience.
